Radio Rangers Show
Throughout the history of WDEV, "live" music has been an important part of our heritage. Groups such as "Don Field and the Pony Boys" and "Buddy Truax and the Playboys" graced the airwaves. That tradition continues with the WDEV Radio Rangers - our own Mark Struhsacker on flat-top guitar and David Rowell on bass are joined by Tony Washburn on fiddle and multi-talented Danny Coane for vocals, banjo and more - bring listeners 15-minutes of country, western, folk and bluegrass favorites. For public performance schedule and booking information visit: www.wdevradiorangers.com.

For the Birds
From the incredible fall migrations of snow geese and hawks to the early Spring arrival of robins and songbirds, the comings and goings of our feathered friends fascinate. For over 15 years, Bryan Pfieffer and Anson Tebbetts have informed and entertained WDEV listeners with “For the Birds.” Every Saturday morning at approx. 6:20 and again around 7:35am, the bird boys present bird calls, viewing hints, habitat and environmental news and response to listener mail.

Jack Donovan Program
In 1972, a young announcer who grew up in the Boston area was hired as afternoon DJ for WDEV-AM. For over 35 years, Jack's silky-smooth voice has filled the afternoon hours - interviewing a cavalcade of Vermont musicians and performers and announcing songs from his famous Box of Records. Perhaps the longest running afternoon program in the Northeast, Jack weaves an interesting blend of music, interviews and features - updates from Radio Vermont News, Kia Commo with the Party Calendar and Movie Marquee and Roger Hill ready for breaking weather bulletins. And to keep track of Vermont's vibrant arts scene, listen to the Radio Vermont Arts Calendar with Jack weekdays at 3:15 PM - only on WDEV-FM & AM.

Weekdays 2:00-5:00pm

Jon Noyes Joins WDEV Morning Show

Jon begins the day with "Once Around the Clock" from 5-6am and "Wake-Up, Vermont" from 6-7am - including the Trading Post. From 7-9am, Jon joins the Morning News Service with WDEV veteran Eric Michaels - who has anchored the morning news program since April 1994.
